- All fittings are solid brass and can be locked with a
   padelock.

The external wooden carved surfaces are sealed to avoid any stain damage and for the sake of easy cleaning meaning just a damp cloth will suffice. The sealing agent used is translucent hence still shows off the natural beauty of the wood grain. The internal surfaces are not sealed so that the camphor aroma, with which they are impregnated, can prevail.

To avoid damage in transit the feet of the larger trunks are supplied separate with fixing screws.
